Trident owns an off-take for 50% of the gold produced at Equinox Gold’s Los Filos Gold Mine up to 1,100,000 delivered ounces.
Los Filos is an operating mine located in Mexico. The mining operations comprise three open pits and two underground mines.
In October 2022, Equinox published an Updated Feasibility Study for Los Filos, increasing the mineral reserves by 44% to 5.4 million ounces of gold. In 2023 Los Fiolos produced 159,100 ounces of gold. In 2024 it is estimated Los Filos will produce 155-157 ounces.
Current reserves sit at 5354 koz @ 0.86 g/t Au (Combined proven + probable) and production is expected to fall between 160 – 180 koz of gold. Mine life is expected to be ~10 years with a possible phase two expansion.
