Blyvoor Gold Offtake
Trident owns an offtake for 100% of the gold produced, less any applicable streams, at Aurous Resources’ Blyvoor Gold Mine (“Blyvoor”) located in South Africa. The offtake has a cap of 2.7M delivered ounces.
Blyvoor Gold Offtake
The Blyvoor Gold mine is an underground operation located on the Witwatersrand gold belt in South Africa, situated in a prolific gold mining area within the Carletonville Goldfield. The region hosts a number of well-established gold mines and is well serviced by all amenities. The mine is located approximately 14 km from the town of Carletonville, Gauteng Province, and about 80 km from Johannesburg, a major metropolitan centre.
The mine was established in 1937, and milling started in 1942. In its first seven years, the mine yielded 1,563,362oz of gold.

Blyvoor Gold Resources Proprietary Limited and Blyvoor Gold Operations Proprietary Limited (together, “Aurous”), a producing mining group which owns Blyvoor and Rigel Resource Acquisition Corp, a special purpose acquisition company, sponsored by a fund managed by Orion Resource Partners, entered into a definitive business combination agreement that will result in Aurous becoming publicly traded.
The Transaction values Aurous at a pre-money equity value of approximately $362M.

A S-K1300 technical report on Blyvoor was completed with an NPV@5% of US$1,310M with a 30-year mine life and an average annual gold production of ~150,000oz. All-in-sustaining costs are estimated to be US$815/oz with an average free cash flow of US$85M/yr.
